Welcome To My Yoga Blog

Since yoga is more popular now than it has ever been I decided to create this blog to help others.  Yoga is essential to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.  It’s just a part of the over all body and mind fitness routine you should follow every day.

Although yoga is exceptionally popular I believe it is misunderstood.  Many people believe yoga is primarily an exercise to get your body into shape.  Yoga is far more then this.

As I studied Yoga over the years I realized that it is the science of human perfection.  I contains all elements that makes a person truly healthy in all senses of the word.  Yoga focuses on the physical, mental and spiritual aspects or your life.

I guess you are syaing “human perfection, Wow, what a tall order”.  Total perfection through yoga is more then a few careful stretching exercises.   The true foundation to achieve perfection will come through proper conduct of living a life that puts you in harmony with your inner self and others in your life.

When I first began taking yoga I really did not understand the harmony that one can achieve through a proper healthy lifestyle.  It is truly amazing the bliss I feel from following the teachings of a great yoga instructor.

I found that reading about yoga and comparing the teachings of my instructor has helped me find balance in my yoga style and also keeps me well focused on a healthy lifestyle.   I hope this blog will inspire others to search out all that Yoga has to offer.

A better way to understand yoga is to think of it as a discipline that will help you to find harmony with yourself and also your  external environment.   Please feel free to leave comments of your feelings.
